Where did you get the screen from Mark?

Did the fitter get the trims off without damaging them?

Not so much working on my car but I did successfully rig up my spare FBH on the patio and actually got it working. I have fitted a further FBH in my diesel Tourer but have yet to test it. Even surprised that the timer taken from the scrapper worked first time, as did the cheapy Chinese fuel pump that cost me about £8!!

I finally finished my grill mod, thanks to Ian g for the inspiration to do it. It eventually became a waiting game for the stainless mesh from the company in Warrington, 2 months in total waiting for the stuff from them.
A job that I can’t say I enjoyed doing, I don’t know how a mk1 bumper compares but the mk2’s are shoddily made.
Anyhow it’s done and I’m very pleased with the result.

Removed the '75' badge from the boot lid. Always thought it looked like an afterthought so off it came. Much better.

Default Auxiliary Belt Change Diesel

I changed the auxiliary belt on the NUK well yesterday/today and just about time too by the looks of it.

Turned out to be a nightmare due to the tensioner nut turning when trying to lever it back

I don't believe mine has been changed for ages... ...what's the normal service replacement period for these belts?

90.000 miles, or 100 years whichever comes first

It's a 5PK2030 btw and you will also want a 5PK870 when you are in there, Gates Micro V and not Dayco rubbish either
