Didn't do Eric's pulley at a meet but at a local garage, and it took a 3/4 airgun to get it off.

I specifically bought a DeWalt 900Nm battery impact driver to do my pulley, and it won't touch it, so tight.
And since covid still not done it, luckily it's still hanging on

QUOTE=johnnyb44;2889071]Just been for a stroll down to the garage. The guy is a one man business and must of been out on another job as the place was locked up. I could see my car inside though sitting on the lift, so he's obviously taken a look at some point.
Ceedy, you mentioned above that you changed the crank pulley on that unfortunate owners car at a meet. Are they a relatively quick and simple job to tackle, and that its the tensioner that's the awkward job to do.[/QUOTE]

My AA cover is around £50 per month for breakdown, recovery, garage cover and that also covers the wife's Rav4 too (both cars nearly 20 years old). If i continue to work from home, I may have to drop some of the cover as it isnt really needed at present!
