I don't think he does or deals with rusty spots and bad paint work in general, it's mostly fabrication of panels etc, i could be wrong ?

That's a pity - I had a pre-mot check last week and they said that the corrosion underneath could possibly be flagged as an advisory.

I have recently found this on my NS sill and have purchased the sill from Tom, and have a mobile welder coming on the 18th to fit it, i have my fingers crossed that his work is going to be ok.
1 After further investigation. 2 3 Sill purchased. 4 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284325094439 Other sill parts from Tom. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284514542472 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284245609737 I think i may do a little more investigation tomorrow and maybe take the advice of Chris to book in with Tom. I have time as my MOT is not due until April 2023.
