Not just cars too.---My aged wife won first prize for the best floral garden in our village of 600 people. Also the greatest variety of plants with literally hundreds of different types.--Then we moved on. Now after 5 years of TOTAL neglect the garden is, without doubt, the worst garden in the village.---Derelict describes it perfectly now.---Heart breaking.---

I bought my ZT back 14 years later and it's been interesting.

I suspect that the real attachment to it is actually for the times and places that I originally owned it in rather than just the car.

I don't think I'd do it again.

You'd need a very good reason to buy it back yet again.---

I agree. It sounds like you lived an exciting life.

My fondest memories of any car belong to an Austin Montego and a Vauxhall Calibra. I don't think buying the cars back could ever recreate our shared experiences.

Isn't an Innuendo a brand of Italian suppository?

Ah, now I understand what everyone was thinking.

Just as well I didn't post up my initial thoughts, which were that 'I hope she wasn't the Household Cavalry's pool-use vehicle'.

Just checked Tarquin - MOT has run out.

Haven't the heart to tell mom.

I started calling her `Raleigh` she's had more bangs than John Wayne's revolver.

It’s a bit like looking up your ex on Facebook. Morbid curiosity.
