Really liked the earlier series with him and Edd, like others I wasn’t so keen when they went off to America etc so didn’t bother keeping up with it.
Might have to have another look. Anyone know why Edd left? |

Think it was after the Discovery Channel got involved. The programme became less about Edd working on the cars and more about Mike Brewer pratting around.

They chatted about wheeler dealers but didn't go into to many details but gave a smile and a wink about their experience. Paul mentioned that Mike would buy some right sheds and when 20 major faults were found , he would repair 16 of them and the film would show Edd fixing 4 of them ! It has also has been mentioned that Edd was only paid a wage for working on Wheeler Dealers and receives no royalties from any of the reshowing of the programmes ! This is not a dig at Mike and I still enjoy his shows and was disgusted at the abuse he and his family received when Edd left the show and I hope they have made up. Life is too short to fallout over different opinions. |
