Morning. Really naff day here, grey, mist, drizzle.

Love wee Maya to bits but she isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Let her out yesterday, she spotted a squirrel under the bird feeder, took off after it, misjudged the gap between plant tubs, ran straight into one and head butted it!

Afternoon all.

This morning's dreary rain has thankfully dried up.

Met up with Mark (Postbasher) this morning at Chasewater (https://www.enjoychasewater.co.uk/) and had a good chat, food and a cuppa.

He's the guy we overtook on the M5 on our way home from Cornwall a few weeks ago and by coincidence met at Taunton Deane services. He's up this way for a few more weeks so though it would be nice to get together.

Maybe do another one before he heads down to the South West so if anyone fancies joining us just let me know.

Spoke to my Brother yesterday.
He, Sis in Law and my two Nephews have all tested positive for Covid-19.
Needless to say, they are all self isolating at home for the next 10 plus days.

My Brother and Sis in Law are both double jabbed. They have what he describes as a bad cold and no sense of taste or smell. Other than that they are okay. Hope that stays the same.
The kids are both fine, one had a headache and a mild temperature but that has now gone and no other symptoms thankfully.

I'm having a lazy day in front of the TV watching the football.

Next weekend will be even more lazy. Final rounds of the British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch, US of A Grand Prix and Liverpool v Man United all to watch

Yeah the dry didn't last long here either It's raining steadily and now I have to listen to the tumble drier all day.
