Lost key blade (still got the chip)
Long story short, I lost ONLY the key blade for my 75 2.0 V6, fortunately still have the transponder.
Problem is, I have no 2nd key to get the blade from it. What can I do, I am quite desperate now. I live in Italy. Maybe you know someone that can help me make a blade by giving him the VIN nr of the car and showing him proof that I own the car. Or anything else that could help. I found out that I can remove the ignition barrel. Keep the transponder close to it. And manually turn the ignition with a screwdriver or something similar, but problem is, the ignition barrel can only be removed while it sits in AUX position, and I can't bring it there.as.I don't have the blade anymore |

If you can get the door barrel out then maybe a decent locksmith could make a key from that?
Sorry not an expert on locks but if you can't get the ignition barrel out then the door barrel has to be the next option for a template. Good luck

You can get a key from BMW through official Xpart channels but last I heard the were well over £200 plus VAT etc.
