Well the correct pump turned up today and fitted perfectly.....a mere £10.75 inc p&p as opposed to a Xpart one at £70.00.........

Washer bottle back in and connected up, just need it enabled on a T4 session now.

Still waiting for some more fasteners to turn up so the bumper can go on.

Well another day....my old friend Corin popped over, to do a few jobs for me including fitting a new (genuine ) screen in the V8 complete with rain sensor......It's at least the thrid screen the car has had judging my the way the last one was fitted (apparently the shape and amount of old adhesive is a tell tale sign)

And it would appear to work without ZCS coding...

Added in a dim/dim mirror whilst I was at it and did a proper repair on the roof loom that had been damaged at some point in the past

Only downside, is the scuttle panel and covers have been damaged in the past so they need adding to the wanted list

Started with the chrome ring on the interior door handle, whipped the handle out and glued the surround on to prevent it dropping off.

Then onto the heated washer jets. Why they made the connector bigger then the hole is anyone's guess, but dismantled it and fed it all through. Discovered that Ken had been running arround with a few extra passengers at some time....

At least the V8 is good for drying mouse poo out !!!

Then sorted the stuck rear seat, using a trusty junior hack saw.

Rear shelf out, GPS receiver fitted and trimmed the slot for the electric blind slightly so it fully retracts.

Alas the late hour prevented the HK/Hi Line loom going in.....

Not much has happened in the V8 world....

Decided to sort the front badge using one of these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2611226244...84.m1439.l2649

I picked the hottest day possible

Drill 4 holes opposite each other

Using a pointed tool, GENTLY lever it all the way round

Pull it off

Clean off old adhesive with a drop of petrol

Affix new badge, and stand back and admire

Put a bit more Dark oak in...

Didn't have the correct dark oak switch panel, so made my own one to match the CC panel
