trying to test relay
Good evening, i am trying to test my fuel pump relay after some issues but am not sure exactly sure where to apply 12v to get the switch to operate. Have tried lugs 1 and 2 based on the diagram but this achieves nothing, so its either wrong or goosed!! any suggestions? thanks for reading.

As I see this:
No power applied should show continuity between 3 and 4. Applying power across 1 and 2 should switch to show continuity between 3 and 5

Just had a similar relay fail on my Ford, it turned out to be intermittent in operation, New one was about £6.00 from local auto Electricians. It should hear a click when 12v applied between terminal 1 & 2
