Default MG Rover Press Cars. Please help!

Following on from my thread recording MG rover products used in TV and Flim I have started to create a list of all MG and Rover press cars. If you have anymore information you could add to the list I would be most greatful as this is a big job!

BTW I have avoided recording anything with a MG Rover Group Personalised Plate because you will not find the plates on the DVLA website.

And yes I am a bit Sad!

My car

Haven't a clue where it was used, probably a dealer demonstrator or something I would guess but a press car it is. Possibly might be in David's list above as we've both discussed them before (reg is Y876BOH).

Ours is BX04 YEF CDTI 75 Tourer, was one of the ragley hall press cars for the release of the facelift models, and then was in what car magazine and also on carkeys.net website.

Y811COE (at least I think it's 811, tore the page out badly at the time). Red ZT featured in Practical Classics MG group test...

Default mg zt-t press car

Hi there, just a quick question and hope you may be able to help.
two years ago i purchased a zt-t to add to my collection,it was purchased through a rover dealer direct from the factory. i was told that it was a press car and then went on to be an engineering car. the service history is stamped ,'MG rover group engineering fleet' and lists what had been done prior to the sale. reg no; bx02rgv it is a zt-t 160ps turbo manual in la mans green ,
could anyone shed any light on it ?

Hello Rabett Rover, Just to let you know that I have just purchased an MG ZT 180 SE it is saloon in Monogram Aubergine & is stamped 'Press Car' inside the hand book the Longbridge garage was the comissioning garage not a dealer, the car has every extra on-board including a highly finished paint finish under the bonnet which I have been told is not normal as is the paint colour is not common. The reg number is BP54 KGK there are some pictures of it if you follow my user name smifffy, can you see what else you can find? let me know if you need any more info Regards Alan
