Whitby and The Lion Inn
Early August we visited Whitby and its surrounds for a long weekend. Here are a few photos from the meeting at the Lion Inn organised by Suzublu aka Ronnie A big thanks Sir Ron
We would liked to have spent more time exploring Whitby and meeting the people who live there. http://s978.photobucket.com/user/00G...ideshow/Whitby |

Thanks Paul. I had some more photos which I had not posted up and did not want to impose on the Whitby Rover 75 thread. Whitby is a fascinating coastal town to explore what with the railway station, harbour life and its old buildings. Lots of parking for the visitors. The fish and chips are notorious. It is a photographers delight with so much going on with the views, the people, the characters and the light

Thanks for sharing those pictures Phil, looks lovely there.
Yorkshire isn't a part of the world I've yet had the pleasure of visiting but would very much like too
