Dropped out the fuel tank to get a look inside the fuel filter (and replace the tank straps at the same time). Think I may have found at least a contributory cause to my poor running - an O-ring in 2 pieces and a filter housing full of absolutely black fuel!!
New O-ring and the filter rinsed out and it seems to be running much better now, still not quite right though. Finally finished off replacing the nearside rear arms as well. |

Changed the wipers on no. 1 75.
Adjusted the position of the passenger wiper when I was at it, as it had made its way to stopping beyond the windscreen.🤔 Also topped up the coolant. Seems I have to replace the o rings on the header tank again, or, just tighten the cap.😳 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Replaced the badly faded boot lid badge.
Replacement CD Autochanger magazine arrived, loaded it with discs and it worked a treat. |

brimmed the tank with 54 quid's worth of diesel. With the current covid restrictions and lockdowns popping up everywhere and based on the limited travel I've been able to do since March this tank full will probably last me till next October. Why did I bother

Replaced the broken drivers A pillar trim and fitted the emergency boot release inner clip part so now there’s now no body trim hanging loose in the car. Strange how those two things really annoyed me lol
Have a replacement scuttle panel to go one when I can as this is a busy time of year at work so free time to tinker is sparse |

Remember to keep it in a warm place before fitting, the plastic doesn't like to be bent out of shape in the cold weather.

This week has resulted in both sills being repaired and the car looking much better. Thankfully it was not to serious and should last a few good years to come.
