So England win
I'm already sick of the talking up of the England match last night.
Great they won but not a performance that convinces me they have any chance of winning the world cup, would be nice if they did. Passes that went behind our players, a fluff from Stirling at less then 6 yards. Kanes goals, first the keeper pushed the ball all but onto his foot and the second I don't think he even moved a foot. BBC news said Kane went for goal twice and scored twice, a striker that only has 2 attempts on goal in a match. Stats are good 2 strikes 2 gaols but 2 strikes in 90 minutes is not good It was no until Jordan Henderson put a ball over the top did we seem to be any good. Some good play but we seemed not to use the space very well at times and played into a crowded area. We should win Sunday and then probably only need a further point to progress. come on England, play to the value of your wages. macafee2 |

I think they had a good first half, played some nice football. But the finishing was poor for an international team. They won't get that many chances against many teams in the WC.
As for VAR, I think they had a stevie wonder moment whenever kane got tackled in the box. Seriously it brings the system into dispute when they miss such a couple of obvious fouls. |

The strikers, and with Sterling in particular, the finishing is absolutely pathetic. Sterling produces these howlers week in week out, yet they still rate him....well I don't.
