Default HELP with cd changer

Hello ive just brought a rover 75 2ltr v6 on a 99 plate. its got original stereo with cd options. well ive been looking on ebay and they make it sound so easy to fit a cd changer. they say undo cover where fuses are under glove box and just put the cable through the hole in glove box and your away.:lol: well ive looked and looked but i cant see no conector i dont want to start pulling cables about just to see if it is the conector so can somebody please HELP

Hi,

You need to buy the wiring loom to fit a changer. Up to 2001 cars were not fitted with the chnager loom unless a changer was fitted at the factory.

so does that mean i can just buy a cd changer with the wiring then wire it direct in. Im hopless at electrics so does any body know anywhere thats not too expensive in the birmingham or derbyshire area that can fit it cheers mike for your info but it still just confuses me as i said im hopless at electrics i can strip and rebuild an sd1 but when it comes to wiring well
