Was the resynch you mention the one where you stand close to the car and press the fob button more than four times ?????

It's the resynch according to the manual ie doors shut but unlocked then press the fob x 4 in quick succession. Actually I've had a forum search and noticed that Mofo had a similar issue with the windows. It's the aircon that I'm more worried about. I can't believe you get all these niggling probs after just changing a car battery

I dont have any strange gremlins like the windows.. does that mean (as I sorted of half expected) BCU has gone **** up?
If so, what's the cheapest solution ? |

When the issues happened to me, no one had a definite answer, until the T4 session revealed things. I would still reckon that should be your next port of call. |

As with everything on this forum, you only get to hear of the times it has gone wrong, there must be thousands of battery changes that have gone without a hitch, but we never discuss those I'll see if I can find that thread |

then removed the battery leads from the battery to be changed(make sure jump leads dont jump off), then (when new battery was in place)replaced the battery leads on the new battery and tightened them up.. then removed jump leads It might pay you to tape them on so they cant jump off, but leave the nuts/bolts clear... seems a lot of words "battery" and "leads" in this paragraph, but hope its understandable Last edited by bassman; 21st June 2011 at 10:57.. |
