Although my fan is working, i dont really care what temperature it comes on at, but it would be nice to know how to use this diagnostic mehod...

Glad you found a way and thanks for sharing it, I need to fit a new resistor and test my fan, Soon has funds allow, Ready for getting A/C sorted. The car rides so quiet that its a shame to let all the noise in having windows open. Derek
