yer more tax but less for clutches and i think you will love driving the auto i kno i do

i just love my auto. just wish it had cruise control! mind you i do love it.......did i say i loved it yet?

Mines a manual 2001 CDT and it is £165 a year...its now based on the ammount of CO2 it puts out according to your registration document(inside page below Cylinder Capacity).....Have a look to see what yours is in comparison to my manual model..mine is 163g/km. Surprisingly, this isnt measured in an MOT emissions test.

yeah it should be checked as there cannt be a reason the auto is higher on emissions

Just look at the fuel consumption of an auto compared to a manual though

I Also Have A 2001 cdt Manual But The Yearly Road Tax Is £215.00
the Emissions According To DVLA Are Not Recorded !!
Some Of Us With Earlier Vehicles Are Being Ripped Off as The Emissions Cannot be Any Different As The Engines Are The Same But It Is Graded On CC.

My brothers (Harsh Realm), CDT manual is LOADS less to tax than my CDTi auto

But my auto with cruise control is total "aim and squirt" driving

I can say I LOVE IT too

don't we auto users get screwed in that dept enough via the fuel duty then ?
