We are getting a new ‘smart hub’ so not sure if it’s the same? Apparently twice the speed as the fibre we currently have

Arrived today and now set up. It’s a little disappointing at the moment as it’s running at the same speed as our old BT fibre router. Apparently BT monitor it in the first week so hopefully the speed will increase.

Did you order a higher-speed BB service than your existing service or just a replacement hub?

The Smart Hub X is only needed for G.Fast technology.

No idea Mrs sworks sorted it. Our contract was up and she thought we were getting a faster speed. We didn’t get the filter that’s in the link in the first post and the speed is pretty much what we used to have

Don't want to be a pessimist, but will we now encounter problems with what we got now,and be recommended to Upgrade,at a cost.
