Default rover 75 mechanics in glasgow or nearby?

I want someone to install new hand brake shoes and back plates. I have already bought the items from the supplier on the forum. I thought they would go on as a complete unit but I see they have to be separated and the backplates fitted first. The hand brake has been poor for a while but has tobe sorted for the mot. many thanks, firefrost.

Thanks for the contact. I will phone him, he may know someone closer in the south of Glasgow. Failing that I will make the trip as he seams to know all about our cars. Cheers.

Not sure why you think the new units need to be disassembled to be fitted ?

+1 for CossieDunc - it's worth the journey (20 mins)

there is a Garage i've passed in the Gorbals area where the A730 meets Pollokshaws Road - appear to be Rover specialists - however I have no experience of them - whereas CossieDunc I can highly recommend

Paul.

You probably only need a new compensator, they stretch over time causing poor handbrake
Another for Dunc
