Looks like I might be taking one over to Germany like I did with his SLK. Can not wait for that phone call. ‘ Dad. Can you go and have a look at a V8 for me’ .

Bit late I know, but have just worked out mpg for the trip to Holland.Filled up twice at Sainsbury’s where we started from on the morning. Going out, 22.65 Ltr. Arriving back in GB filled up on the Tuesday morning,30.79 Ltr. Filled up at home on the Wednesday morning at Asda, 24.14 Ltr. Total in gallons=17.06. Miles 895.5.mpg= 52.47 mpg. Not bad really, occasionally up to 90 mph to catch up with the others. I tell lies so ignore that last paragraph,130 km per hour was the fastest I went, honest officer.

Default the weather

Hi all,

Do you all realise, how much luck you all had last week, coming to Boxtel, with the weather. It was a gorgious weather. And look now.... I saw a glimp of the World Championship Cycling in Yorkshire....;Gosh..... what an awfull weather it is now.... Did you see the images on television? Unbeleiveable what a difference in just one week.... Also here in Belgium it is bad, but not as much as in Yorkshire..

Cheers,

Eric

it's been terrible here in essex since our return, it rained a bit on our drive home from Dover to Essex and has pretty much rained everyday since. We definitely were extremely lucky with the weather.

I've sent a couple of images from the Boxtel show to the company that supplied the car flags https://www.hampshireflag.co.uk/?gclid=Cj0K

They will appear shortly on their social media pages along with a link to the owners club .
Cheers Ian
