I bought and fitted a pair of "as new" used ones from Portugal. They had no rust whatsoever and looking inside with my endoscope camera, weren't even dirty! I cleaned, dried, primed and painted them inside and out, followed by a thorough multi coating of Dynax and cavity wax. They should outlast the rest of the car!!! As above, good luck with finding replacements. There will be some out there..................... somewhere!

Try DMGRS
I bought two pairs of Rear Upper arms from DMGRS and treated them as per Roverbarmy. Each year I check out 'cavities' such as these and top up the treatment.

I've a part worn one in stock
I would wait until end of January beginning of February until the new supplier stuff comes through to XPart, if you can't wait, then buy the pattern parts from Rimmer Bros. Brian |

Rear suspension arms
I had the car re-undersealed recently and the comment from the company who did it was "rear suspension arms corroded and holed" so maybe the lower ones?
Maybe I need to speak to Matt at DMGRS in the New Year Andrew

RH side HERE LH side HERE Park your car on a level surface, take a spirit level place it vertically from the centre of the wheelarch to the ground, then with a steel rule measure from the uppermost part of the sidewall to the inside of the spirit level, note the measurement and repeat on the other side. I'm willing to bet a pound to a pinch of salt the RH side will be a bigger measurement than the LH If the arms have been already been noted as holed, don't delay buy a pair of arms and replace them before you shred the sidewall of the OS/R tyre Brian |
