Default Replacement Headliner cloth.

Looking to replace the sagging roof headlining that has decided to drop, and was hoping that some forum member may be able to point me in the right direction as to where I might be able to get or source the correct cloth material or part number for a MG ZT saloon (smokestone) have been quoted around the £250 mark, which after I have removed and cleaned up and delivered the roof liner is I think.. a bit steep!.Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks Paul

Has anyone used this or similar to recover a headlining?

My ZS is hanging in a right state!
Do you use spray adhesive?

Spray glue, the same as used for sticking carpets down.

I'm tempted to give this a go later in the year.
Looks like my ZS will be back in regular use shortly.

I would disagree. You need heat resistant adhesive glue, which is not the case with carpet adhesive. Roof of the car can be heat up to 120 degrees Celsius (in some cases more).

The carpet glue will be fine for our uk temperatures, remember there is a void between the roof panel and the headlining, then you a have the pu foam of the headlining itself.
