VIS Balance Valve
Hi Folks
I now have a new VIS motor for the balance valve, (the one at the back of the manifold). I thought I ought to clean the valve itself and check it moves freely. How does it come out, just a pull ? Any recommendations on keeping it operational would be welcome. |

It shouldn't be tight or feel stuck at all. Yes it's a close fit but the little motor has to move it so you shouldn't find much resistance.
The one on the manifold I sold just slid out.

It comes out easily, just a pull.
Keeping the actuators operational involves periodical opening, cleaning and sealing back. The most affected part is the micromotor which is permanently collecting oil.
