Won't the alloy engine react with the copper via the coolant or is my schoolboy chemistry (60 years on) failing me?

No, they're too far apart to worry about electlytic effects. And the coolant is formulted to mitigate this and other chemical reactions.

Don't encourage him TC, he is having a Giraffe.

I've ordered a couple plus one spare to qualify for the discount. Will await with bated breath on the customs outcome.

They arrived in good time and I'm very pleased with the quality. The price I see has fluctuated upwards since I posted the link to them but I guess this might be due to currency fluctuations as I suspect has been the case since they were sold by Tazo a couple of years ago.
