Thanks, everyone. Yeah, I know what you mean, Paul. My new flash allows me to darken the ambient light further by using the high speed sync mode which my old strobe doesn’t have hence I can darken the background further and use the flash as a fill to light up the model, So, it allows greater contrast. I still need to get used to the new strobe as it’s quite fiddly but will get there...

Thanks, Seanalf. I shot with my Nikon D7200 using my Tamron 70-300mm lens. Fantastic lens. Very underrated and cheap lens. Flash is a Godox AD600B strobe mounted on a heavy duty light stand. Mounted my Lencarta 90cm soft box double diffused. Triggered by a Godox X Pro N trigger on manual mode.
I also used a 43” reflector for one of the head shots which I got the model to hold for me.

Cheers Rav, is that the Tamron 70-300 SP? I have the same one, brilliant!

I'm looking into a softbox as my next (just bought some YN622's for flash trigger) purchase. All I need is a model!

Yes, this lens here.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tamron-70-3...70-300mm+nikon

Very good lens and great range. It’s no f2.8 but I don’t need it. It’s super sharp and great bokeh from it. Image stabiliser is fantastic. Better then Nikon’s own one which costs double....

I buy some of my stuff from Lencarta. It’s good quality. Have a look on their website. WEX are good, too and MPB.
