I`m almost always behind the camera but sometimes the others from the gang shoot at me.

Good morning all and welcome to the day. Good morning Hristo, it looks as though you had a fun time on your bike

On the farm in South Africa, we had to put a stop to the MTB group coming onto our land for their own safety. High on the mountain and in the woods, the homeless living in the caves or criminals, would hide in the woods and belt the bikers with a bat or attack them with a gun and rob them of their bikes. The police could not help.

All the police could say to us, was if we stopped the bikers, the attacks would also stop. At night we would see the MTB bikers lights going through the woods on their bikes. I remember speaking to them about the dangers and warned them about being on private land. Most of them were middle aged men in Lycra with big stomachs and all the gear. I did try and chase them off but they were too fast. Eventually they got the message and moved to our neighbour on the other side of the mountain. He is set up for it with a cafe and dug in slaloms for the MTB fun and they have to pay him a fee to use his slaloms

I just found and watched the first appearing video on Google with Helderberg MTB club`s footage
I like it, especially the first quarter of it. I don`t like prepared trails but the genuine ones.

Everyone carries a gun in South Africa Hristo, but some do not if that makes sense. We also had the gays and transvestites coming onto our land at night to look for each other - cruising and we had to put up an electric fence to keep them out. Since we beefed up the security, they go elsewhere
