Engine undertray fixings
Does anybody know the Rover part number for the screws which hold the engine undertray in place please?
I don't know if they are different between models but the ones I want are for my 2002 CDT Conn SE. |

I have found the part numbers quoted in Mike's undertray removal 'how-to'
The numbers for the screws and the washers do not show up in EPC however. Does anybody know if the fasteners for the wheel arch liner (CZM 100050) are the same please? Last edited by Raistlin; 1st April 2007 at 09:45.. |

I get a "vibration" kinda sound when idling and under acceleration but it's smooth and quiet when i'm just cruising along??... does that sound like the undertray thingy??. It's not a marble in a tin can, more like when a wheel needs balanced kinda feel??

I include the following extract from a forum discussion 'elsewhere' for which acknowledgement is given to Johndotcom:-

Although you can get the fasteners, you may be wasting your money (they're overpriced) as the corroded retainers could be failing to hold them securely. On the advice of another member, I replaced the rear fasteners with plastic tie-wraps - just as easy to fit and remove, and far more secure.

The even cheaper alternative which also makes servicing easier is to chuck the undertray in nearest bin? Dave
