Default Little signal led's

How about someone making little signal leds mounted on different plugs like the injector wiring plugs, the fan plugs, in fact anywhere there's a plug or socket. Pass through signal adapters is what I mean, you know, you put them in line, while the unit you are testing is working.

Even better, what about a clamp like idea, like a current clampmeter. Put the clamp on the wire, amplify the signal, have a pot to tune the gain, and watch as the led pulses. Could even wire the clamp up with a testpoint for a scope.
