Single or double?
I was looking to upgrade my CR80 radio cassette player...not many cassettes about these days! This is a single DIN unit. I want to replace it with an all singing and dancing GPS stereo unit/rear camera etc.
Fitting a double DIN unit looks to need some work, which I am of course averse to doing, as I would just make a mess of my dashboard...so, I thought fitting a single DIN player, one with those extractable 7" screens, might be easier to do...plug and play, I hope! A straightforward replacement for the current radio, no? Has anyone fitted one of these, and is it as easy as I need it to be, or am I looking at an expensive garage bill..? I could just about manage swapping over the plugs, but not much more... Failing which, I guess I'll have to go with a double DIN...this one looks almost too cheap to be true: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Quad-Core...K/223228744282 Anybody tried it?
