Brilliant MPG !
Hi Folks
I've just acquired 2 new modes of transport, with NO fuel costs ! Unfortunately neither are as good as my '75 Connie. The other down side is one only has 2 wheels, the other has only 3 ! One has no brakes, the other only has cable brakes ! Well, what are they ? you've probably guessed. A 2012 Mk1 Indoor Zimmer Frame c/w Rubber Hand Grips, Adjustable Height, 2 4" Rubberised front Wheels, Rear Rubber Feet, NO BRAKES, All mounted to an Alloy Chassis. WOW ! Now the Real Mckoy: A 2012 MK2 Outdoor Walking Frame, '3' Rubberised Wheels ( independent steering ), c/w Rubber Hand grips, Cable Brakes to rear wheels, All mounted to a black annodised Alloy Chassis. There's more ! A Big Black Leather Bag attached to Handlebars for my 'personals'. How's that then, ain't you just a teeny bit jealous with my fuel consumption ! My 'Connie is definately not for sale. 'Her Indoors' is now her guardian. She loves driving her, and if I behave, will take me for a ride Main problem with this situation is my Mods. a few to do but now on back burner (pity, powerfolds waiting ), But never mind. Maybe will sell these bit later on. Now Iv'e got that little lot off my chest, whats really happened I failed my MOT 'Big Time'. Ticked nearly all the failed box's, plus about 3 pages of A4 advisaries. Driving is definately out of the question, until I get sorted. Iv'e had a spell in the 'Garage' and the Chief Mechanic and all his little helpers have done a fantastic job on me to get me out and back home Moral of this story: THANK HEAVENS FOR THE NHS. Without them I wouldn't be here. I'm sure a lot of people share my feelings. They are 'ANGELS' trimani |

Hope you're on the road to recovery, Alf.... yep, best breakdown service is definitely NHS. As for mods, I'm sure there are still a few in the pipeline - for the walkers AND the Connie! Good luck, mate - I applaud your outlook!

I think you have a very positive attitude, we have all got to grin and get on with life the best way possible.
I don't have a zimmer frame yet but I do struggle with one of my legs climbing stairs, always people worse than ourselves when you look around. Keep taking the tablets as they say. |
