Default Front hub

Hi all,

My front hub has an elongated hole where the ball joint goes through and it's knocking.

What solutions do I have ? I've retightened it and the knocking stopped but it's come back now.

Thanks

Pete.

Replacement hub is the only real option, I am afraid. Which side is it ? Rimmers still offer new RH ones, I think, but the LH ones are NLA. Second-hand ones should be available from scrapyards.

I tighten the pinch bolt to about 60 Nm rather than 45 Nm to try to prevent this problem. A new pinch bolt/nut should be fitted at the same time as the new/replacement hub.
