I still think it's very, very expensive for that level of quality...

I found a digital printing studio who will make me glossy and matte wrap for window switches and they will give me 7 years (yes, SEVEN) warranty for ANY defects, no questions asked. Price quotation = no more than 20 pounds for all four !!!
When it is made, can you post up some photos on a new thread/post of the what you have described. Many thanks.

Milos a post about the vinyl application would be interesting from the point of seeing how it works out in terms of quality and price. A different concept to the walnut. Years ago I tried a roll of stick on Fablon with the imitation wood pattern in it to get the look lol and spent hours cutting a template and fitting it onto the dashboard. How technology has advanced since As Rob says, a good idea to start a new thread

I am waiting for another update, but the position is the cost of repair is almost the same as buying a new one, but the new one has a different cutting head so Simon is talking to the manufacturer to make sure it will do what he wants it to.

I suggest you still place your orders as he might have stock

Hi Robert, I already have most of Simon's walnut kit and want to order some more. The bits I want are, clock outer ring, chrome window outer and inner rings, thumbwheel outer piece and the the two pieces that fit on the rear of the front seats. The window switch bit with the powerfold switch hole I can put a number to i.e.22 but can I just order from Simon using the descriptions I have used, or have these pieces got numbers?. Thanks, John.
