Hi,while having the boot open the other night noticed my hi line sat nav was not shutting down.No worries I thought, got a spare in my attic, fitted it,thingys law,it will not power up.So one not switching off the other not switching on.Spent all afternoon checking, cleaning PCB boards, even swopping parts over but still no joy.Now disconnected.Regards Ryszard..

Here's mine - does it look ok to you? I can't see anything wrong with it - it's smooth all the way across with no grooves anywhere. Apart from that I don't know what else to look for.

Visited my saloon which has been in storage since October. Started first go, ran happily for half an hour and bumbled round the yard going through the gears as smoothly as ever.

The only slightly odd bit was the fuel gauge which was showing empty when I was sure it was half full. So I'm popping back next weekend to check the sender unit.

Just waiting for the nod from Mr Hobbs to take it round now.

Since changing the front brakes last week I have had a small twanging noise from the left front.
Doesn't do it all the time and only on full lock.

So today I put the steering on full lock and had a look.
And I found the bungee that I had used to hold the caliper up still attached to the shock.

Removed said item and no more twanging.

LolI did exactly that on the rear last week, when I had to sort a pulled through hold down pin.

Thankfully I remembered it as I was packing up the tools, but the wheel was back on and on the ground

Made a start on the fixed brake lines. My but those rear connections are a pain.
So far I have one undone (easy) and the other is being slowly destroyed.
Lets hope the front ones are easier.....

Had the two wheels repaired on the passanger side. The guy said leaky valves and for good measure the rear had a nail in it again, so fingers crossed they hold pressure and no more trips for air every few weeks. Just finished a quick clean of the car to remove the guys dirty hand prints.
Did a levels check because it has not been done for a while and all OK, just needed to top up the washer fluid. Happy days......
