Cool

Morning everyone.

Another chilly start to the day but at least we have wall to wall blue sky.

Off to get my flu jab today.

Bright start here and with our three year old grandson coming later, things can oly get better,................. noisier................and more tiring but soooooo enjoyable! He loves wash and polish car days with grandad! Last week, after car washing, we set up a toy car racetrack with three lengths of old plastic guttering, a couple of old cardboard boxes and lots of chasing about and laughter. Who needs to buy lots of hi-tech plastic rubbish from the far east? Not us.

Morning all, yesterday I visited Bristol University as it has a walk-in COVID booster centre, the vax staff were very helpful but said I have to wait until 6 December before I can have the booster. I rang up the hospital and managed to get a cancellation and earlier appointment to see the vascular surgeon on 8 December.

Early start today, dropped Jessica off at the airport at 06:30 for her flight to Dublin, tomorrow she flies to Amsterdam then onto Nairobi. I doubt we will be flying that route again, as Nairobi to London is much easier.

Morning Andy and Deb, sorry to hear Deb had a rough night. Nights are notoriously difficult for anyone with a bad chest. A Steam inhaler helps to loosen the phlegm in a tight chest, but if you think Deb was discharged too early, then get her back to the hospital to be reassessed and treated, sorry Deb.
