Doing a green Thai chicken curry for Ging coming home. Jar of store bought sauce, see what its like. Usually use Mae Ploy curry pastes, coconut milk etc but Mae Ploy curry pastes are getting harder to find, Tesco and Morrisons have stopped keeping it, allegedly Asda stocks it but couldn't see it. Probably find it in one of the Chinese stores in Edinburgh but hate trailing up there.

Thought Storm Barra was supposed to affect the west coast but there's a weather warning for here 09:00 til midnight tomorrow, high winds. Talking about high winds and heavy snow

Morning all.

Once again dreary grey here but dry at the moment.

That's due to change in a couple of hours and last for most of the day

Bird feeder has been filled up which is attracting some lovely wildlife. We've woodpeckers, nuthatch, long tail, blue and great chests (

) blackbirds who are slowly mastering hanging on and the resident robin.

Also the big, fat, squirrel who demolishes the whole lot in one sitting

.
Quizzie frightens the life out of it

but if anyone has an air rifle for sale let me know.

Morning all, It's grey & damp here too. Just filled the bird feeders up too, The big laurel bush I hang the feeders from is bustling with sparrows waiting for their breakfast.

There's 3 of the pesky rats with bushy tails on the feeders now.

My lovely girl chased them off

Maya and Pops hate them, just mention squirrels and they go hurtling out the door . . . . Suzy doesn't give a toss.

Think its the calm before the storm, first (patchy) white frost, barely a breath of wind.
