Hi I've got same problem with my R75 2.0 CDT 2000.
Remote unlocking doors every time,
locking only after reconnecting battery or after removing and plug in again fuse 5 5A (old fuse box (fuse powering BCU).
Problem appear after turning on key to auxilary or ignition.

I have checked all fuses, they are ok. EWS looks good with no damages or water on it.

Please help

Oh and one more thing when I try to lock the doors with remote a hear short sound (horn like misslock)

button on center console near the handbrake works fine locking/unlocking the doors

Hi guys, I need to resurrect this one please as I have possibly a related issue (one that makes this forum so valuable being that problems you encounter have almost always been covered before!)

I have the locking issue (reconnect battery and works for about 60 seconds then reverts to unlocking only). I had intentionally removed the alarm sounder fuse as the alarm was continuously going off so will reconnect this and see.

My questions are why would the alarm keep going off (weather locked or unlocked, engine running or not makes no difference)?
And some other things aren’t working so could there be a connection?

Things not working:
-Sunroof (motor turns freely with manual override)
-Electric mirrors
-Wiper wash (not the wipers just the was)
-Lock via remote or key (car still auto locks when driving)

Things I have tried already:
-Battery reset
-Checked EWS
-Checked, cleaned earth points under carpets
-Changed Wiper stalk for known working one
-Cleaned washer bottle/filters

Please help!

Mirrors just need door switch disassembled and cleaned with contact cleaner, alarm could be the bonnet switch on the slam panel, may also need cleaning. Speed locking is a T4 enabled/ disabled function. If you use the Google search bar at the top of the page, you may find solutions to your other problems. Hth's
