Default Now sold. Radiator fan assembly CDTi

Now sold

With new brushes… Came as a spare with my new car, so untested. However there would be no point in keeping this if it didn’t work so I have to assume it’s all good.

Since there’s a little uncertainty, just £20 for this one. If there’s something specific you’d like me to take a photo of, just let me know.

It was for an MGZTT MK1 by the way.

Default M47 diesel fan

Hi Eddie.
photos are to large it is a four wire 3 speed fan, from the back of the motor you can see the green erosion, so the motor & the brushes will need investigation, by removing the lid off the motor something you could do and find out for sure.

Another was is remove your bumper from your car and plug it into the cars loom, then do a demist test on it.

That will help you now if the low speed is working or not, if not then 99.9 percent the medium speed will most likely not work either.

Thanks for the tip artic. Thee green corrosion is the bit in centre through the hole?
Do you tend to use medium or small for your photos? I thought it was a quality thing…

These are medium

Default Radiator fan assembly CDTi

I’ve found a packet of brushes from dmgrs (I don’t think they’re available on their site anymore)

So £20 collected with the brushes.

Hi Eddie.
That is a lot of information for all to see, personally i would remove it if it is yours, if not then i would definitely remove for the sake of the person whom is on the form, i doubt he would be pleased

So what’s the best way to post pics as I seem to keep getting this wrong, but they always look fine on my phone?
It’s an iphone and I pick the icon to the far left, there’s original, medium and small. This is small what I’ve attached now. Does that look better?

I assumed that to be the case, but a few I’ve added have turned out giant? I must be doing something wrong!

Actually while I’m here, once I’ve sold something, how do I mark as sold? I’ve been just adding to the description, but I’ve noticed that people have been able to change the title to reflect this?

Pictures in post 3 are fine, only a Mod can alter the title of a thread so you would have to request it via PM, you could always add a reply to your original post stating "Item now sold" or as you have done edit the original post.
