You can't help wondering what the story was behind those old Rovers...in such a patriotic country (back then) to buy an import V8 was rather radical I guess.
30-40 years on and German and Japanese cars (as well as brands from other countries) are possibly more common that Built In The USA. They even used a Subaru for the first getaway car in Baby Driver
