Default Discs & Pads all round recommendations sought

Would someone be kind enough to point me towards the make & part numbers and suppliers they would recommend for discs & pads all round please.

Rover 75 Diesel saloon 2005

I stupidly fitted new pagid pads a over a year ago to old discs and now I have to do the lot over.

I found these, but am not certain? & are they X4 ? or different on the front from rear?
Unipart Brake Disc GBD1162 Vented 280mm 5 Hole

Try DMGRS a member here. Full set I got from him was Borg and Beck, worked well and lasted almost 3 years. Lee.

Many like pagid from eurocarparts - just don't forget your discount code on the website.

Even their budget brand (eicher) do the job but squeal occasionally on me.

I like Brembo discs from GSF, most discs come coated in oil or grease but theses come with like a plastic coating , I degreased them and fitted them with new pads and as they heat up any unswept area turns black like its painted and they don't rust. Register on their website and you get discount codes up to 60 % off every week

TRW discs and pads from Mister Auto. I have used four sets to date over the years and they have been very good.

Mister Auto prices are hard to beat on TRW.

Te parts are shipped from an EU country and can take 1-2 weeks to arrive.

I buy the wear sensors from the same source.

I heartily agree. Earlier this year I bought Unipart rear discs and pads at a great price (courtesy of a link someone posted) and I'm very happy with them. I'd like to do the fronts before the car's next MOT in April, but despite extensive searches I can't seem to find Unipart ones - can anyone point me in the right direction?
