Default How does an Audi look after 500,000 miles?

I stumbled across this video on YouTube and found it quite interesting.
Two chaps have a look around and underneath an Audi A4 that has done over 500,000 miles and purchased for cheap.

Thought it might be of interest to some on here as the age is similar to our cars although I don't think there's too many on here that are touching that sort of mileage.

I found that quite interesting. Looks like the Audi had a Rover 75 back exhaust box!

It would be great to know how many owners it had . As a rule the more owners the poorer the maintenance
( my experience)
Just goes to show a car could just keep going less the consumable parts . Those PD engine's are really powerful but not as economical as the older 2 litre engine.

Checkout another video on their site when they purchase a high mileage skoda which has something like 400,000 miles on it, out of curiosity they remove the head

A big decider on how long a vehicle will last apart maintenance is how it has been used. If it has been used for motorway munching it should do that with ease.

My brother in law used to have a sales job and would often do 1500miles a week, his 2 year old Vectra had about 150k on it when he was given a new one, in that time it had only had servicing, tyres, brakes and new rear shock absorber.
