Default Fitted MG7 Mudflaps

Got some MG7 mudflaps which are made to fit the mk1 pre facelift Rover 75 and MG ZT cars. Easy to fit and good looking. They are smaller than the MG Rover OE flaps which I reckon look better. Put some photos on my blog at ...... https://mgzt.info/2021/07/01/fitting...over-75-mg-zt/

Mud flaps have always divided opinion - many claiming they are moisture traps leading to tin worm

I think part of the problem is the design of the wing where it stops above the sill and water tends to drain out behind them.

I had front mud flaps on my previous ZT and whilst they did keep the sides of the car cleaner in wet weather, I found being quite low they frequently got caught and they got damaged, and when I took them off I found a lot of build up of dirt and the flexing had caused paint damage. I can see similar on my current ZT where they had been fitted in the past but the previous owner took them off.

Cool

I’ll be removing my 4 off of my ZTT in the next few months. Fed up with the noise over the speed humps.

Obviously it helps to keep the spray volume down which then helps the following vehicle. My old jalopy flings shed loads of spray from, especially, the rears.
