Morning Bob, out of respect to you, I acknowledge your feelings and memories. I never had the pleasure of meeting Val, but having seen her photo, what a beautiful lady she was. Remember the happy moments you had together.

Afternoon all, It's very warm & sunny now & my missus & I are on hackin' & slashin' duties in the front, rear, & side gardens because everything is starting to get seriously overgrown . I'm swinging a machete & missus is giving me a wide berth The green garden bin is full has are my compost piles.

I'm already on pain killers & Henry's to numb the pain

Being a fine figure of a slob I've managed to break our old wooden 7' step ladders They're over 40 years old so I think I've had my monies worth out of them I'm just going on ebay now to order a new set of tall aluminium step ladders.

Afternoon all.

Nice weather here. Warm with quite a bit of sunshine.

Quizzie's now relaxing after a hectic morning with both Bertie & Bridget .

Maybe I'll get a chance to have a look at a few jobs on the Rover .

Have a good Bank Holiday weekend.

Couple of weeks ago I trimmed the holly tree then realised I'd mistimed it, the garden bin had just been was emptied, its monthly. Filled our bin and the neighbour's. I've got the ivy on the wall to do but nowhere to put it until a week on Tuesday when the bin is emptied again.

Got a fun job tomorrow, replacing the brush bar belt on the hoover, Vax. I remember the days when changing a belt was a five minute job, not with this bleedin' thing! You've got to just about dismantle it, the only screw you don't have to remove is the one holding the two halves of the plug together

The belt has broken on our vax floor cleaner, thats a beggar to change as well, its lasted 6-7 years so probably time for a new one anyway.

Had to change the belt once before, I remember it was a major pain in the butt! I managed to find a "how to" online that time but I'm beggared if I can find it again.

Morning Bob and a very good morning to the one and all. Also blue skies here, another hot day 28/30C. Mechanics arrived at 08:30 this morning to remove the fog lights, repair the car horn and replace the signal and lights armature on the steering column. The replacement of the faulty heater matrix will have to wait until we are back from the UK.

Have a great day
