Is this a club sale? I doubt it! Logo theft?

Many thanks for pointing this out,i will inform eBay of the infringement.

Makes you wonder if the authenticity of the disc is genuine too..

Lets make this absolutely clear, the club does not sell or condone the sale of The MG Rover electronic workshop manual also known as RAVE.

The copyright for the said work is owned by xpart, and for an ebay seller to reproduce the club's logo in this way is totally unacceptable.

This ebay listing has absolutely nothing to do with the Owners Club and we will indeed being having words.

I would also like to add,the listing has been reported to eBay for copyright infringements for use of the club banner without permission.A message has also been sent to the seller.

Is there any way of obtaining a legal copy of this disk - perhaps from XPart ?

It seems a shame that we cannot access such a major source of information for our cars. I wonder if XPart might licence the disk to the club - so the club could supply legal copies to members only ?

Given the fact that the disk is so easily available to the unscrupulous, I do not see what XPart would have to loose from such an arrangement.

I very much agree with this - I really would like a copy of this (always wondered what this RAVE thing was, now I know), but I abhor copyright infringement (i.e. theft). Do XPart sell this to to the trade only, and not to individuals?
