Recently purchased the Rover 75, MG ZT Workshop Manual from Rimmers but where are the wiring diagrams

also got this book find it hard to follow. no wiring diagrams not even a picture of fuse box and what fuses do what .It might have its faults but always you the haynes manual.

Please be aware there is no retail version of the RAVE workshop manual for the R75.
Any for sale will be pirate copies of the official discs ( "edit" or the original discs ) which were supplied to the trade only.

Any pirate RAVE discs will break copyright as does copying any other software.

As there is no such thing as an MGR trader anymore why would "Any for sale be pirate copies"? Surely there are lots of genuine discs out there, that were legitimately owned by an MGR dealership but are no longer required by them. Therefore not ALL Rave discs for sale are illegal copies??

The copyright to RAVE is now owned by Xpart.
There are Xpart auto service centers though !
So while they may be genuine discs I was under the impression rule 5 still applies

There is a retail version for the MG TF though and this disc is copy protected.

Maybe a Mod will clarify please?

I think your interpretation is correct - but have to ask what XPart actually gains by preventing us having access to this CD ?

The CD is a very valuable resource for anyone trying to maintain a 75 or MG and I would be much hapier to buy a legal copy from you at reasonable cost. As the copyright holders why not make licenced legal copies available?

Even better - why not let the club ditribute XPart licenced CD's to club members as part of the membership package with XPart advertising and perhaps even the XPart catalog on it.

We should really be working together to make this information available rather than arguing why people can't have it - that way both we and XPart benefit.

Could be wrong here but I think as it's 'Software' the term 'Posting' refers to publishing on the Internet.....
