Duplex Exhaust (V8 style) issues for fitting on ZT 190
Hi guys, i need some info and issues about fitting a duplex exhaust on my MG ZT 190 (V8 Style).
I've already bought the heatshield finisher, all that i want to know is if there are particular things to do for fittig the right exhuast backbox, for example if there is some mechanical component that has to be relocated to fit backbox exhaust, and other issues usefull to me. Pictures of undercar and exhaust system are needed, please post it. Sorry for my english |

The only item that will have to be moved is a canister on the right-hand side (looking from the rear).
It doesn't need disconnecting & can be shifted without the need to extend any pipework. No other issues to look out for. I've had this done on one of my R75's & the ZT190. |

today I lift up the ZT to check, result that:
right exhaust could fit only if it is without silencer backbox, there isn't enough space for the silencer, but a tube would pass. I want a silencer also on the right, so I have to relocate te canister, but where? and how can i do it? what is the function of this valve? sorry for my english, thanks to all Last edited by marandod; 14th February 2012 at 17:48.. |

exactly it seems to be moved just a little up on the right as in the following picture: do you confirm? does it need to extend connectors and cables? |

I have read that it does not need to be disconnected just moved whilst still connected

Yep, no need to disconnect as said earlier.
There is plenty of room for a box to be fitted. |
