Default V6 Won't Start - Help

Right, the V6 has arrived, and I'd like to get it running if possible just to make moving it a bit easier.

It turns over ok on the starter, but the engine never actually catches on and starts.

I've just fitted a "new" (well my old diesel battery, but fully charged) battery to it, still got the same problem.

Previous garage reckon the fuel pump isn't working (but isn't receiving power), but couldn't do much more as their diag kit wouldn't connect to it ()

Ideas?

Pics etc later

check for the orange clip first as it sounds like the fuel filter may have seperated.

The car was registered 14/06/2000, from a quick search FFS seems to effect 2002+ cars?

Might seem a silly question, but how much petrol is in the tank? try to have more than 1/4 tank if possible.

If you don't find it, search FOC (Fabled Orange Clip) or FFS (Fuel Filter Syndrome) and all should be revealed.

It's got ~1/8th of a tank (just over the "low fuel" bit).

I don't really want to fill it up if possible, though...

Quick video of whats happening - http://youtu.be/6lzlO2Uwme8?hd=1

Searching for FFS now
