Default Spare wheel

Got myself a full size union wheel as a spare to replace the space saver, all was well until i put it in the wheel well along with the jack pack and found that the boot liner would not sit level it sticks up by around 4 inches at the rear cant work it out as i see others have fitted full size spares with no problems.

On the space saver wheel the bit that fastens it down has a round plastic spacer on it, when I fitted the bigger wheel I removed the said spacer,Thinking about it though that still shouldn't make the wheel sit higher, so may-be someone else may know, Just out of madness has the wheel got the correct tyre on,i.e bigger means it wont fit in the well right,

I'm pretty sure there is because the jack pack is designed to support the floor.

Have you got the grey foam buffers on the bottom of the boot floor?

When I fitted a spare hairpin in my mg it fit perfect including the jack pack, the only thing i'd had to do was remove the spacer to make the threaded part long enough to fasten the wheel down,
