Default diagnostic tool for misfire on zt-t

hi
my car is a 02 zt-t 2.5 v6 160 it has started to misfire so i have changed the plugs. All seemed okay for a couple of days but the misfire has come back. The problem is the car goes okay for a while and then the misfire comes, sometimes its okay. and sometimes not.
the main problem for me is that money is short which hasn't been helped by the hail storm damaging my ZS, got to find the excess for the insurance. I have looked on some of the ZT forums and see it is possible to get a diagnostic tool for my android phone, so what i'm asking does anyone know what i need as the bluetooth obd2 readers i've looked at don't look as if they can be used for an mg. Also is there any freeware for my laptop and a cheap reader so i can get a better idea of whats happening and whats cylinders are misfiring.

Thanks in advance

I live in Coventry and have a decent OBD II tool, send me a pm and will meet you and let you know what cylinder is failing.
If you support Leicester its best tell me after!

Check all the cables going to the coil packs pull the rubber cover back on the connectors and check the couple of inches of cable that are shrouded as they can chaff
