Default Yes you can (fit a sunroof in a Tourer)

Despite some advice that "you can't fit a sunroof in a Tourer" I have. Yesterday. And mighty fine it is. Webasto make it and was beautifully installed by Alan of Auto Roofs of Leicester (www.autoroofs.co.uk) - yes I live in Somerset - but he seemed happy (well not deliriously) to drive down and fit it via Webasto's local agent, S West Sunroofs who live close by. It has the same drain tubes as the original but as it has more functions, the switch is in a slightly different place. (It closes automatically when you turn off the ignition and has a fail-safe stop). Cost me £1300 + VAT which I was happy with as it is the last item I felt the car needed to make it a really luxurious limo).

I have always been interested in fitting one to a zt

How come Alan fitted it and not S West Sunroofs?
Can't get your link to work though
Well done with the sunroof

I've always loved a sunroof, and turned down 2 very nice ZT-Ts because they didn't have one. I'm glad I held out for one with this feature, as there's nothing quite as good as ejecting a load of stuffy air as quickly as a sunroof!

Default Webasto

I got the impression that Webasto have fairly recently introduced this built-in sunroof to fit our Rovers and suspect that Nigel has not kept up to date, whereas Alan at Auto Roofs has fitted many. Alan can be found at 07836 747372 or office 0116 2849282. My pics below:
