Hi, I have scoured the forums and ebay for a walnut original gearknob but to no avail.

I did find this item which i have ordered....

unfortunately the first item was tracked all the way from China into the royal mails hands, whence it was never seen again.
now awaiting a replacement item, i know its not Rover stamped but for around a fiver its worth a punt. The one above is beige but the also do grey etc hopefully this link will be of help.

Dont bother with the above item.... there is a reason its that price..... its rubbish. the box it comes in is nicer, but on the plus side it was less than a fiver and so worth a punt.
